McGaheysville is located just a couple miles east of Harrisonburg on Route 33 and is situated at the base of Massanutten. It is not an incorporated town — though it does have its own post office -- but it is a very desirable area and has grown immensely in the past decade because of its easy access to Sentara RMH Medical Center, Harrisonburg, Massanutten, and Skyline Drive.
